Sun on the Rock Amber Ale
The caramel and fruit notes of our amber ale capture the rich history of the ‘Rock of the Clyde - a 240ft high plug of volcanic basalt from the Paleogene.
It became the main stronghold and port of ancient Strathclyde. Over the next one thousand years, Dumbarton Rock would see sieges, battles and illustrious visitors that other castles can only dream of.
Our beers are conditioned in the bottle and unpasteurised to preserve the natural flavours from the brewing process. This may give the beer a hazy appearance.
